DESCRIPTION:Join HD SOUTH in welcoming local author Pamela Reynolds\, as she shares from her book Perfect Rose Cracked Vase. The doctors had no hope for baby Rose. Her mother had contracted the German measles while pregnant with her\, and she could be born blind\, deaf\, mentally handicapped\, or potentially have a fatal heart defect. After she was born\, the doctors were not optimistic and told Rose’s mother to not get attached to her…put her in a home\, she will never be normal. Rose survived a challenging childhood\, but through the journals she kept as a young person\, she found healing insights into her life’s journey. Registration is required. \n
