DESCRIPTION:Join ASU professor emeritus Duane Roen\, founding coordinator for the Project for Writing and Recording Family History in the College of Integrative Science and Arts\, for this unique family history workshop. Family cooks and bakers have favorite recipes. Some may be recent collections\, some handed down from generation to generation. Family gatherings enjoy good food and conversation\, and our family recipes have stories to share. In this program we will share our memories about family recipes and design a cookbook. Please bring paper and pen or a laptop. Ages14 and up. \nRegistration required.

DESCRIPTION:Join local historian extraordinaire Steve Hoza\, who has worked in the museum field for the past 35 years\, as he shares his knowledge of Arizona’s war airfields. Arizona was home to 59 military airfields during World War II\, training tens of thousands of pilots\, bombardiers\, and gunners. Steve has visited each of these fields and presents information on the fields and how they were used. Artifacts from the trainings will also be on display. Registration required
