SUMMARY:STEM SATURDAY-THE ARDUINO POWERED DRAGSTER
DESCRIPTION:Spend a Saturday morning at the museum conducting fun and exciting science experiments with local teacher Erik Gillman. In this class\, students will build and program a dragster powered by an Arduino microcontroller. They will learn how to connect various components to the Arduino and then write a program to control the car. Supplies are provided. The cost of the class will allow participants to keep their completed dragster\, including the Arduino and all the components. Class size limited. Ages 12-16. \nRegistration is required. Cost: $35 \n  \nNo refunds for registration fees will be given unless the class/program is cancelled by HD SOUTH staff.  In the event a class/program is cancelled\, please allow 3-4 weeks to receive your refund.  Refunds will be issued via check.

GCA students will introduce a variety of activities\, including 3D printing with both 3D pens and printers\, CAD applications using Tinkercad\, Makey Makey apps with fruit\, and more! \nRegistration is required.
