SUMMARY:STEM SATURDAY
DESCRIPTION:Retired local teacher\, Erik Gillman\, will guide participants in creating their own wood art project using computer numerical control. Kids will learn how to combine art and technology using a laser engraver.  Whatever design you can draw (or import from the Internet)\, can be engraved into wood.  Participants will create a design on a Chromebook using EASEL software and convert the design into GCODE\, then set up the engraver to start the process.  Ages 12 and up. Supplies are provided. Class size limited. \nRegistration is required. \n*Program registration will close at 12:00pm on Friday October 18th
