SUMMARY:Book Reading and Workshop- Two True Karate Kids
DESCRIPTION:Join local children’s picture book author-illustrator\, Jenifer Tull-Gauger\, for a book reading and workshop. The author will read The Two True Karate Kids: A Dojo Kun Character Book on Battling Dishonesty\, from her children’s character-building picture book series. Following the book reading\, the author will lead a workshop on honesty. Body language basics for trying to determine the truth will be covered\, as well as a discussion on being honest with oneself as well as others. Participants can use this information to create their own bliss lists. The books are geared toward children ages 5 to 10\, but all ages are welcome to join this free special event. Non-reading/writing children will need an older partner to help them with creating their bliss list. Registration is required.
