Her mother had contracted the German measles while pregnant with her\, and she could be born blind\, deaf\, mentally handicapped\, or potentially have a fatal heart defect. After she was born\, the doctors were not optimistic and told Rose’s mother to not get attached to her…put her in a home\, she will never be normal. Rose survived a challenging childhood\, but through the journals she kept as a young person\, she found healing insights into her life’s journey. Registration is required. \n
