The eighth Centennial Saturday class is geared towards one of the 5 C’s of Arizona – Copper! During this workshop, Les Presmyk, mining engineer and geologist will discuss the fortunes to be had in the copper industry, as well as the follies that befell its prospectors. Many original Gilbert settlers added prospector to their resume. Come learn more about the draw of this beautiful metal that our state is famous for. #GilbertAZTurns100.

Registration is required.

 

 

Class sizes will be limited in order to ensure adequate physical distancing. Facial Coverings must be worn at all times. Tables/stations will be spaced at least 6 feet apart. A hand sanitizing station will be located in the room.
