Join us as Dr. Jeffrey Langland, Ph.D. uncovers the fascinating ecosystems that shaped the region’s natural history over hundreds of millions of years. From ancient oceans teeming with marine reptiles & invertebrates to lush forests roamed by early dinosaurs and Ice Age mammals. Participants will discover how Arizona’s unique geological features—like the Petrified Forest, the Mogollon Rim, and the Grand Canyon—hold clues to life from the Paleozoic, Mesozoic, and Cenozoic eras.
