Dale Hallock is back and he will share with program attendees highlights and interesting facts from his Gilbert history book “From Cowboys and Sodbusters to a Mega-Residential Community”. Dale came to Gilbert with his parents and siblings as they fled the Oklahoma Dust Bowl and the Great Depression and has called Gilbert his home ever since. From 1971-1976 he served as the Mayor where he expanded Gilbert from a mere 240 acres to 33,920 acres, giving Gilbert the opportunity to grow.
