Welcome back Kendra Stanger, the Chandler Gilbert Community College sustainability expert, as she educates participants on foods that are edible and safe to use from the Arizona desert. Food sustainability is soon becoming a problem around the desert. However, there are many things that you can find in the desert that can be used to make ingredients for the foods you enjoy eating. Kendra will also talk about using desert mesquite pods to make flour that can be used in making some of your favorite foods. Registration is required. Cost: FREE
