Welcome back Kendra Stanger, the Chandler Gilbert Community College sustainability expert, and her companion speaker Danette Turner, as they educate participants on foods found in the Arizona desert which are edible and safe to use.  There are many things you can find in the desert that can be used to make ingredients for the foods you enjoy eating.  Kendra will also talk about using desert mesquite seedpods to make flour.  Samples will be provided to taste.

Registration is required.
