Research indicates that getting angry or upset can suppress our immune systems, but finding humor in stressful situations and laughing at them can boost our immune systems, reduce stress, and even regulate blood pressure (Northwestern Medicine). Fortunately, life offers us humor in many forms and at many moments. In this workshop, we will share some of the humor that each of us has experienced. We will discuss some of that humor; then we will write about it and share what we have written. This program/workshop is facilitated by retired professor Duane Roen, founding coordinator for the Project for Writing and Recording Family History in the College of Integrative Science and Arts at A.S.U. Join us as we learn about the power of laughter in our everyday lives.
