Welcome back Kendra Stanger, the Chandler Gilbert Community College sustainability expert, and her companion speaker Danette Turner, as they educate participants on foods found in the Arizona desert which are edible and safe to use. There are many things that you can find in the desert that can be used to make ingredients for the foods you enjoy eating. Kendra will also talk about using desert mesquite seedpods to make flour to be used when making some of your favorite foods. Samples will be available to taste.

Registration is required.

*Program registration will close at 12pm the day prior to the program
